Polystyrene mouldings and decorative elements for façades
Expanded polystyrene (EPS) mouldings and decorative elements enhance the façades of houses, villas and apartment buildings with lightweight, customisable profiles. Expanded polystyrene is shaped and coated with specially formulated resins that strengthen the surface and protect it from weathering, leaving it ready for painting.
Lightweight and easy to shape, these elements offer an alternative to stone and concrete for exterior façade decoration. Their ease of handling and installation makes them suitable for both new construction and renovation projects.
Bespoke door and window surrounds
Termoblok manufactures decorative surrounds in a range of shapes and sizes, including bespoke designs based on clients’ drawings, to suit the style and proportions of each building. The range also includes cornices, string courses and other architectural details for a coordinated façade design.
For restoration projects, bespoke manufacturing also allows damaged decorative profiles to be reproduced using accurate measurements of the existing mouldings.
Integration with external wall insulation
EPS mouldings can be incorporated into projects featuring external wall insulation systems. Their potential contribution to insulation around doors and windows depends on the design of the construction detail and correct installation: decorative mouldings alone do not guarantee the elimination of thermal bridges.
