EPS architectural elements: style and lightness for every building
At first glance, it may look like a traditional architectural cornice. In reality, behind shapes, profiles and geometries reminiscent of classical decorative elements, there may be a much lighter and more versatile solution: expanded polystyrene (EPS).
Today, EPS is also used for the creation of cornices, string courses, mouldings and façade decorations, thanks to its ability to be processed and shaped with great precision. Each element can be custom-designed, either to reproduce geometries already present on the building or to create new decorative solutions capable of defining its appearance.
This versatility makes EPS cornices suitable both for newly constructed buildings and for façade renovation and redevelopment projects. The material makes it possible to create well-defined and customised architectural elements while keeping their weight low and facilitating handling and installation operations.
